Yacht Club Founded in 1960 By 1960, there were about 50 tenants in Lefroy Harbour Resorts Inc. and time for the boaters to form a Yacht Club - which they did with Bill Hillier as the first Commodore.On June 17, 1964, LYC received its Provincial Charter. As the Harbour grew in size so did the Club. Activities take place in the Harbour House Restaurant or in the LYC Clubhouse behind the restaurant and the pool. The Clubhouse was originally an open dancehall and has been renovated to accommodate our many activities. |
